Powder Coating
Durable, high-quality finishes for automotive, industrial, and custom projects.
The Process
How Powder Coating Works
Powder coating is a dry finishing process that creates a hard finish tougher than conventional paint. Fine powder particles are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the surface, then cured under heat to form a smooth, durable coating.
The result is a uniform, high-quality finish that resists scratching, chipping, fading, and wear better than traditional liquid coatings. Unlike paint, powder coating produces no solvents and releases negligible volatile organic compounds.
From automotive wheels and motorcycle frames to patio furniture and industrial equipment, powder coating provides superior protection and a flawless finish that lasts for years.
Surface Preparation
Parts are cleaned using abrasives or chemical treatments to remove rust, old paint, and contaminants for optimal adhesion.
Powder Application
Electrostatically charged powder is evenly sprayed onto the grounded surface, creating a uniform coat.
Curing
Parts are placed in a curing oven where the powder melts, flows, and chemically reacts to form a hard, durable finish.
Quality Inspection
Every piece is carefully inspected for coverage, consistency, and finish quality before leaving our shop.
